The solution to the problem of insufficient output flow and inability to increase pressure of the gear pump
Generally, this type of leakage is mainly caused by internal leakage, which accounts for about 5% of the total leakage of the gear pump, radial leakage accounts for about 20% -25% of the total leakage of the gear pump, end face leakage accounts for about 75% -80% of the total leakage of the gear pump, and pump pressure leakage is relatively high.
In order to increase the working pressure of the gear pump and reduce internal leakage, some methods have been adopted in the design.
1. Using a floating shaft sleeve end face clearance, pressure oil is introduced into the back of the shaft sleeve to make it tightly adhere to the gear end face, reducing the end face clearance, compensating for wear, and the higher the pressure, the tighter the adhesion.
2. Adopting an elastic side plate compensation end face gap, the pump outlet pressure oil is directed to the back, and the compensation of the end face gap is carried out by the deformation of the side plate itself
