Preparation before starting the metering pump

1. Check whether the oil quality and quantity inside the inspection station pump (the transmission box should be based on the horizontal centerline of the oil standard, and the three valve oil cup and diaphragm chamber of the metering pump should not be lower than the red indicator line) meet the requirements;

2. Check whether the welds, connection bolts, sealing surface performance, etc. on the inlet and outlet pipelines are intact, and whether the suction and discharge pipelines of the pump are unobstructed;

3. Before starting the pump for the first time, the coupling should be rotated several times without any jamming phenomenon. Check whether the rotation direction of the motor is consistent with the upper cut-off of the pump.

4. Adaptively operate the pump, especially after stopping for more than 5 days. When starting, make sure to start from the "0" stroke (the pump can be started at any position after a short-term stop). After running without load for 5 minutes, adjust the piston stroke to the desired position and start with load;

5. Pressure operation: Close the vent valve in the three valve oil cup of the diaphragm pump and gradually increase the pressure to the rated pressure.

2. Normal operation

During normal operation, the sealing part of the metering pump plunger should not feel hot or leak when touched by hand, and the oil temperature inside the transmission box should not exceed 650C.

2. Regularly check whether the oil level and quality in the three valve oil cup meet the requirements, and observe whether there is any fluctuation in the oil level. If any fluctuation is found, it indicates that the valve is leaking.

3. After adjusting the safety valve, it is strictly prohibited to turn the adjusting screw, touch the oil replenishment valve ball, and keep the oil in the three valve oil cup clean.

4. Regularly check the temperature of the feed liquid (generally ≤ 1000C) and the pressure of the discharge pump feed liquid (≤ rated pressure).

Three parking and others

1. First adjust the adjustment mechanism to the "0" position, the crankshaft stops rotating, but the electric motor is still running. Then cut off the power and the electric motor stops rotating. If the pump needs to be shut down for a long time, the liquid inside the pump should be completely drained to prevent blockage and corrosion of the pump body.

3. Generally, 20 # or 30 # mechanical oil is used inside the box, and the Weidong box and three valve oil cup should maintain the rated oil level for a long time.

4. The lubricating oil in the pump should be replaced every 6 months. When replacing the new oil, the original oil should be removed and replaced before injecting new oil.

5. Keep the appearance of the equipment clean and the insulation of the motor good.
